Olyvka

Supermarket storefront site with a 360° tour and its own control panel

A modern site for grocery retail: shoppers see new arrivals and promos before they visit, and the store updates its storefront on its own, with no developer and no weeks of waiting.

The problem

The store needed a living storefront: promos change weekly, new products keep arriving, job openings come up. Classic development on a heavy CMS would have been expensive, and a simple landing page would have gone stale within a month, since every edit would have to be ordered from a contractor. So we built a site the store manager updates on their own, and launched it on the client’s server.

What Olyvka does

  • New arrivals and promos - dedicated pages with hot-deal countdown timers. Shoppers know what’s a good deal today before they walk in.
  • 360° store tour - a self-hosted interactive tour of the store right on the site, with no third-party services or API keys. People see the store before they cross the threshold.
  • Job openings - a hiring block the store fills in itself. Candidates see current positions, not last year’s ad.
  • Control panel - forms with a live preview: the manager sees the page exactly as shoppers will and publishes without a developer. Separate logins for the owner and the content manager.
  • SEO and marketing support - the site is ready for search and advertising from day one: visitor analytics, Google integration, clean link previews in social networks and messengers. The store is easier to find in search, and every promo has something to take into ads.

Reliability

The site runs on the client’s server, the panel login is protected against password guessing, and content is backed up daily. Pages are static and fast: the panel rebuilds them only when something has changed.

The project didn’t end at launch: the site keeps evolving, and we consult the store on digital marketing and growing its online presence.

Stack

Static pages (HTML/CSS/JS), Node.js control panel, Pannellum for the 360° tour, Caddy, Docker.
